Lent is almost here!
Just in case you weren't at church this past Sunday, we wanted to make you aware of a Lenten opportunity.
The Christian Education team would like to offer members of our congregation the Lenten study guide "Knowing God's Triune Story: the 2010 Moderator's Lenten Bible Study." This 98- page, soft cover book has daily devotional readings and a guide for weekly group sessions to be used during the six week period of Lent. If you would like to know more about this guide you may follow this link to pcusa.org’s description of “Knowing God's Triune Story” where you will find a detailed description ofthe guide.
We offer three opportunities for using the guide:
- Adult Sunday School will use "Knowing God's Triune Story" for Lenten Study.
- The Bath Church Book Club will use "Knowing God's Triune Story" during the Lenten Season.
- Anyone who would like may purchase a copy of "Knowing God's Triune Story" for devotional study on their own.
The Christian Education team is making the guide available for only $5.
More than anything, Christian Education hopes it will add blessings to all who are able to participate.
Orders need to be placed no later than Monday noon, February 15. See Pam or Alan to place your order.
