We are called to do mission and outreach as servants of the Lord.  This includes the Presbyterian offerings throughout the year as well as projects supported by Bath Church.

We contribute to feeding the hungry through the local FISH pantry as well as donations to churches who host monthly dinners.

The next Mission Meeting Wednesday, July 1, 2020 by WebEx at 1:00 pm.

Catch the Building Spirit (June Mission) Bath has historically donated $100 to this event. This year, we have raised $275.00 above the budgeted amount with the sale of birdhouses made and donated by Val Quinn, her son Ian and sister Claire. Thanks so much, Val, Ian and Claire! Some of the birdhouses were purchased unfinished to be decorated at home. However, there will also be a silent auction July 5th for birdhouses that were painted for the auction. All the proceeds from the birdhouses will go to Catch the Building Spirit which partners with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton.

Hearts for Haiti – BJ   We are considering a video chat or call with Shelly to let us know current information about BJ and Hearts for Haiti in August. Maybe we can have pictures of the congregation holding signs for BJ to be sent with Shelly when she goes to see him along with cards and letters. Should be encouraging to BJ to see our smiling faces!

Michael’s House – Forty percent of the $200.00 Pentecost offering, or $80.00, was retained and put into Michael’s House Fund. This amount of the Pentecost offering can be retained by individual congregations wanting to make an impact in the lives of young people within their own community which Michael’s House most assuredly does. Congregational Care Donna S has agreed to be the chairman of the Congregational Care subcommittee. She has selected several members for her committee, and they have agreed to be part of her team. This will be like deacon type duties including visiting hospital and homes and arranging meals for surgeries or illnesses. Please direct any questions to me or Donna.

UPCOMING MISSIONS: Rescue Me Donation being collected the first 2 weeks of July. Huber Heights School Donations of school items start being collected the 19th of July.

"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me."(Matthew 25)
