Bath Presbyterian Church - Then and Now...

Old Bath Church

Built in 1824

Bath Presbyterian Church is one of the oldest congregations in the Miami Presbytery having been organized in 1824.  Worship services have been conducted in the same building that was constructed in the early 1830’s from timber that was harvested from the site and brick that was fired on site.  An annex was added to the building in 1959 to provide two floors of multi-usable space. Construction was completed in 2003 on a new entrance from the north parking lot. The new space includes expanded restrooms on both floors, an elevator to make both floors handicap accessible, and expanded storage space designed for multi-function activities.

More than 180 years of making a difference.

Bath Church Today

Our Vision

Bath Presbyterian Church is a community of faith, which seeks to make a difference in the lives of people. Since 1824 it has been our mission to share the Good News of Jesus Christ by extending his caring ministry to people inside and outside of our community, in language and forms which is best understood by each generation, and helping them to realize the power and presence of God's love in their lives. Bonded together and guided by the Holy Spirit we gather as the family of God to worship God, and through teaching, study and prayer, to deepen our understanding of who God is and who we are in God’s presence, that we may continually grow in our faith, love and hope. With God’s help we will continue to make a difference in the lives of people into the next millennium and beyond.
